Why download a Reddit video?
Reddit has no download button and stores the picture and sound of its videos in separate files. That is why saving a video from the browser usually gives you a silent file. This tool merges both tracks and hands you an MP4 with sound.
Use it to save a video you posted yourself, keep a clip from a community whose creator allows sharing, or extract the audio as MP3. It accepts reddit.com post links (including old.reddit.com and app share links) and direct v.redd.it links.
We show the qualities Reddit offers for that video. If the video was uploaded without sound, the file will have no audio and we will tell you. Posts from private or adult-only communities may not be accessible.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why do Reddit videos download without sound elsewhere?
Reddit serves video and audio separately. We download both tracks and merge them into one MP4. If the file still has no sound, the original video has no audio, and we will tell you.
Do v.redd.it links work?
Yes. You can paste either the post link or the direct v.redd.it video link.
Can I download just the audio of a Reddit video?
Yes. After analyzing the link, choose "Audio only (MP3)" to get the video's sound as a 320 kbps MP3. If the video has no audio track on Reddit, an MP3 cannot be extracted and we will tell you.
Is it legal to download Reddit videos?
You can download your own videos and those whose creator lets you save them. Reposting or using other people's videos without permission may break Reddit's terms and copyright law. The tool only works with public videos: it does not access private accounts or protected content.
Is it free?
You get one free download per tool to try it out. A link that fails does not count. To keep downloading you need ToolStudio Pro, which gives you unlimited downloads on every platform, every other tool without limits and no ads. You can cancel anytime.
