How does the voice recorder work?
You don’t need to install any software to record a voiceover, a message, a quick idea or a singing take. This recorder uses your computer or phone microphone straight from the browser: press the red button, allow microphone access the first time and start talking.
While you record, you’ll see the elapsed time and a level meter that tells you whether your voice is coming through well: if the bar barely moves, get closer to the mic; if it hits red, back off a little. You can pause and resume as often as you like within the same take. The browser’s echo cancellation and noise suppression are turned on so your voice sounds cleaner.
When you stop, the waveform and a player appear so you can listen back. If you’re happy with it, save it as MP3 (at the quality you choose) or as uncompressed WAV. If not, click “New recording” and start over. To remove silence at the start or end, run the file through the audio trimmer.
