Why download a Facebook video?
Facebook only lets you "save" videos inside the network: if the video is deleted or you are offline, you cannot watch it. This tool downloads the video as an MP4 file so you have it on your phone or computer.
Use it to recover videos you uploaded yourself, keep the livestream of your club’s event, save a video a page has allowed you to use, or extract a talk’s audio as MP3. It works with videos from public pages and profiles, Reels, and Facebook Watch or fb.watch links.
We show the qualities Facebook offers for that video, up to the highest available. Videos from private groups, restricted profiles or messages cannot be downloaded because they are not public.

- Open the video on Facebook, tap "Share" and choose "Copy link".
- Paste the link into the tool and click "Analyze video".
- Choose the MP4 quality or "Audio only (MP3)".
- Click "Download" to save the file to your device.
When is it useful?
- Recovering videos you posted on your profile or page.
- Saving an event livestream to watch offline.

- Using a video in a presentation with its creator’s permission.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I download Facebook Reels?
Yes. Copy the Reel link (facebook.com/reel/…) and paste it like any other video.
Why can’t I download a video from a private group?
Because it is not public: only group members who are logged in can see it. The tool does not access accounts or private content, so it only downloads videos anyone can watch without logging in.
Can I download just the audio of a Facebook video?
Yes. After analyzing the link, choose "Audio only (MP3)" to get the video's sound as a 320 kbps MP3. If the video has no audio track on Facebook, an MP3 cannot be extracted and we will tell you.
Is it legal to download Facebook videos?
You can download your own videos and those whose creator lets you save them. Reposting or using other people's videos without permission may break Facebook's terms and copyright law. The tool only works with public videos: it does not access private accounts or protected content.
Is it free?
You get one free download per tool to try it out. A link that fails does not count. To keep downloading you need ToolStudio Pro, which gives you unlimited downloads on every platform, every other tool without limits and no ads. You can cancel anytime.
