Why download a video from X?
X (formerly Twitter) has no download button for videos: you can only watch them in the app or on the web. With this tool you paste the post link and download the video as an MP4 file.
It is handy for archiving your own videos, saving a clip of a press conference or official announcement before it is deleted, or extracting a video’s audio as MP3. It also works with X’s animated GIFs, which are really silent MP4 videos.
We show the qualities X offers for that video. Posts from protected accounts cannot be downloaded because they are not public. Both x.com and twitter.com links are accepted.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I download GIFs from X?
Yes. X stores GIFs as silent MP4 videos, so they download as MP4. Since they have no audio, you will see a notice that the file has no sound, and no MP3 can be extracted from them.
What if the post has several videos?
The main video of the link is downloaded. If you need another one, open that specific video on X and copy its link.
Can I download just the audio of a X video?
Yes. After analyzing the link, choose "Audio only (MP3)" to get the video's sound as a 320 kbps MP3. If the video has no audio track on X, an MP3 cannot be extracted and we will tell you.
Is it legal to download X videos?
You can download your own videos and those whose creator lets you save them. Reposting or using other people's videos without permission may break X's terms and copyright law. The tool only works with public videos: it does not access private accounts or protected content.
Is it free?
You get one free download per tool to try it out. A link that fails does not count. To keep downloading you need ToolStudio Pro, which gives you unlimited downloads on every platform, every other tool without limits and no ads. You can cancel anytime.
