Why edit EXIF data?
EXIF data travels inside the photo and many programs use it to organise your pictures: galleries sort them by the date taken, photo managers group them by camera and image search engines can read the author and copyright.
Sometimes that data is wrong or missing: a camera whose clock was never set, scanned photos with no date, unsigned images or a location that is off. This editor lets you fix it: author, copyright, description, the date and time the photo was taken, camera make and model, software and GPS coordinates.
Only the metadata changes: the image pixels are copied as they are, with no recompression, so the quality stays exactly the same. When you change a field, the tool also removes the old copies of that field in XMP and IPTC, so no program keeps showing the previous value.
Everything happens in your browser. With ToolStudio Pro you can apply the same changes (your name and copyright, for example) to many photos at once.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the photo lose quality when I edit the EXIF?
No. Only the metadata blocks are rewritten; the image data is copied without recompression.
How do I change the date of a photo?
Pick the date and time in the “Date and time taken” field and save. This updates the capture date that galleries and photo managers use.
How do I add or change the location?
Enter the latitude and longitude in decimal degrees (for example, 40.4168 and -3.7038). To remove it, click “Clear location” and save.
What happens to the XMP and IPTC data?
When you change a field, the tool removes the copies of that same field in XMP and IPTC so they do not contradict each other. Everything else stays as it was.
Can I edit several photos at once?
Yes, with ToolStudio Pro: change the fields once and apply them to every photo you have added. The free try covers one photo.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Editing happens in your browser and your photos never leave your device.
Is it free?
You can try it free with one photo. ToolStudio Pro gives you unlimited use and batch editing across every tool.
