Which developer tool to choose
If an API returns unreadable JSON, Format JSON tidies it and the validator tells you the line and column of the error. To move data into Excel, JSON to CSV; for configuration files, JSON to YAML; and to type a response, JSON to TypeScript.
Before shipping, minify HTML, CSS and JavaScript so the site weighs less; to read minified code, use the Prettier formatters. The CSS generators (gradients, shadows, border-radius, clamp() and calc()) are free with no limit.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is my code or data sent to a server?
No. The JSON, minify, format, Markdown and CSS tools run in your browser. You can use them with work data without it leaving your computer.
What is the difference between minifying and formatting?
Minifying removes spaces, line breaks and comments so the file weighs less in production. Formatting does the opposite: it adds indentation and line breaks so the code is readable.
Is there a usage limit?
The CSS generators are free with no limit. For the rest you can try free with one document, and validation errors do not count as a use. ToolStudio Pro gives unlimited use.
